Many great right-handed pitchers have called Texas home. Tonight, two more will face off in Game 6 of the World Series.

Jake Arrieta will try to keep the Cubs alive and force Game 7 tonight in Cleveland. He’s a graduate of Plano East High School and pitched for one year at Weatherford College before transferring to TCU for his sophomore and junior years.

He won Game 2 and gave up one run and two hits in 5 2/3 innings. Arrieta is 1-1 in the Postseason with a 3.48 ERA.

joshJosh Tomlin has a chance to win the series for the Indians tonight. It would be the first World Series win for Cleveland since 1948.

Tomlin’s a graduate of Whitehouse High School in East Texas and pitched at Texas Tech. He is 2-0 in the Postseason with a 1.76 ERA.

Been called a ne'er-do-well, vagabond and worse. But I'm really a harmless wayfarer. I'm a bit reckless, but at least I know who I am. That's something I can't say for most men I meet out there.
A pretty lady once told me that I like to hear myself talk. So if I get to ramblin', send me a quick "Yur dooin ma heid in!" and I'll shut up for a bit. It won't hurt my feelings.
